I frequently get so caught up in the schedules, to do lists, and deadlines, that I miss the abundant life all around me.  Life is short and I have to think about how will I return the abundant blessings I have received.  One of my favorite quotes sums it up for me "Our brother's and sister's needs become our own, because they are taking the journey with us as we go to God.  Without us they would lose their way. Without them we could never find our own.""

Our August Giving Up To Give Totals

Our Giving Up To Give totals are in for August. Last month we Gave Up enough to Give $295.27, which brings our year-to-date total to $3592.55!!

We are well on our way to reaching $5000 for the entire year! Can you help us make that amazing goal a reality? We believe that together we can use the remaining days and months of 2014 to find even more ways to Give Up so that we can Give towards the work of Giving Back To Africa. We believe that together we can continue to make a positive impact on the lives of children in the Congo.

Remember, the Giving Back To Africa board members have filled each day of September on our Giving Up To Give calendar. So be thinking of creative ways you can Give Up in October.
