April Totals

Together, during the month of April, we Gave a total of $106 to Giving Back To Africa. That brings our yearly total to $1,368.51.
$106 may not seem like a lot of money, but that pays for...
  • Three teacher's salaries for a month
  • 10 students' participation in a Community Service Action (where they take all they are learning and go out into their community to provide change through service).
The Community Service Actions are the culmination of weeks of learning and are the thrust of Giving Back To Africa's educational model. These students (most of whom would otherwise not have a voice) are empowered with knowledge and problem solving skills, which they then take into the community through service. When these students are empowered to speak and serve, people listen and change happens. Parents are elated, community members are asking questions, people are coming together to make real improvements to their community, and vulnerable children are blossoming. That is a lot of good stuff for $106!
We would love to see our yearly total surpass the $1500 mark before the end of June. But we need your help!
